Landscapes MAL (Haakpakket)

The colours, lines and textures of the Swedish landscape inspired designer Martin Up North to create the warm earthy tones of the Landscapes Shawl. The soft colours of the sustainable Scheepjes Scrumptious yarn create a subtle mottled effect while adding texture to a beautiful geometric Tunisian crochet pattern. Choose one of Martin’s colourways or create your own and be inspired by your surroundings; your view, a park or what you see while walking.

This Make-A-Long is perfect for both the adventurous beginner and the experienced crocheter who wants to master Tunisian entrelac crochet, or refine it with a relaxed project. As with the Get Connected MAL, Martin hopes the project will bring participants together, this time by incorporating local or favorite landscapes from around the world into personal works of art that will come off the crochet hook.

The PDF pattern of the Landscapes Shawl will be available in Dutch and English (UK terminology) via Martin's Ravelry page for a reduced price of €4 during the MAL (regular price €6). Early birds will pay just €3 if the pattern is purchased before May 23rd! (Prices are subject to variation based on local exchange rates and taxes)

To give participants time to acquire their materials, the MAL will start on May 24th, three weeks after the official announcement on the official Scheepjes social media channels. During the MAL, Martin will share relevant blog posts on his website every Wednesday, including photos and video tutorials. As with every MAL, our experienced moderators and admins in the official Scheepjes Facebook groups will provide support during and after the MAL.
